Dr. Jill McKenzie graduated Magnum Cum Laude from the Honors Program at Washington State University with her Bachelor of Science degree. She then attended the University of Washington School of Medicine, where she graduated with honors. She completed a dermatology residency at the University of Washington and was chosen to be the chief resident. She continued training in Mohs micrographic surgery, reconstructive surgery, and cosmetic surgery also at the University of Washington.

Dr. McKenzie was awarded many honors during her training. She earned the prestigious honor of early election into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Medical Society. She also received the esteemed Georgiana Kirby Award which was presented to the University of Washington graduating medical student who demonstrated outstanding dedication to his or her studies and clinical work and has shown compassion for patients embodied in the ideal physician. She was also awarded the Women’s Dermatologic Society Mentorship Award, Glasgow-Rubin Citation for Academic Achievement, and is an Odland Scholar.

Dr. McKenzie has been practicing Mohs micrographic surgery and reconstructive surgery since 2011. She has completed over 15,000 Mohs micrographic surgeries. Her primary aim is to provide excellent patient care, with a focus on skin cancer treatment and early detection.

Outside of work, Dr. McKenzie values spending time with her husband and children. She also enjoys her church community, hiking, skiing, watching sports, and reading. She is busy watching her kids ski race and her son play hockey. Dr. McKenzie was once a member of her undergraduate (WSU) horse polo team and continues to ride occasionally.
